Flashbreaker Tape
Manufactured from polyester film with silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive. Offers superior bonding to wide variety of treated papers, films and foils with their excellent quick-stick properties.
One mil thick high temperature, high tensile strength polyester film. It is one-side coated with a one mil thick, fully cured high temperature silicone adhesive. As a fully cured adhesive, it will not transfer to metal or composite details thus eliminating contamination problems, yet maintaining a strong surface grip upon nominal contact pressure.
Found in high technology bonding rooms and composite fabrication shops as an all-purpose high temperature tape. It is perfect for holding in place release films and fabrics, bleeders and breathers, sub-assembly details during pre-fit and bonding operations, and in all phases of masking operations for surface pre, painting and mechanical fastening. Will release clean from surfaces without leaving a residue after cures up to 400 DEG F and 100 PSI.
